前面的这座古牌楼就是古镇区的一个大门。1991年时造的是古镇区和新区的分界线，里边是周庄的古镇区，占地面积很小，只有0.47平方公里，都是些元明、清时期保留下来的一些古建筑。

恩 查了一下 应该翻译成ancient decorated archway ，这个decorated archway 就是牌楼，不过有点失去韵味了，牌楼这个词太中化了也没办法。。看到有人直接翻译成pailoo，不过我觉得跟外国人讲的话还是直译比较好~

原来就是像楼一样的门呢~才知道了，呵呵。。
